Today's points: Reading 10 · Spelling 15 · Full Lap +5 for both. Tricky Words pay double — Tricky Spelling 30 · Sentence Sprint 20 · Champion +10 for both. With maths and duties a full day lands near 130 points.
Your part: you set what a point is worth. At 2c a strong week is around $12; at 5c nearer $30. The week resets Monday, so payday is Sunday night.
How the words are taught: each tricky word is broken into decodable chunks with the unpredictable part marked ♥ — so a child learns why a word looks odd instead of memorising it blind. Words your child finds hard come round more often, automatically.
